has hope; and he
who has hope; has

About Dominika

My mission is to help people become happier and healthier by empowering them with practical, evidence-based advice. I primarily support people with IBS and other gastrointestinal conditions but my interest also lies in autoimmune diseases and weight management.
Growing up amongst nature, good food, coupled with a desire to better the people and world around me has undeniably influenced the journey of my education – from studying agriculture and environmental science in college to completing a degree in adult nursing, followed by a degree in nutritional medicine.
Having worked as a nurse extensively in Gastroenterology has enabled me to see first-hand how the gut relates to all other systems of the body. I felt that a conventional practice of prescribing potent symptom relieving medication simply wasn’t the right way and was more similar to ‘putting a plaster on a wound’. I knew there was an underlying reason behind all of the complications I have seen in people. That is why nutritional science became the trajectory of my career and digestive health my primary focus.
Along the way I’ve also learned that being healthy extends beyond nutritional field and that making space for all the things that make us feel like ourselves is a crucial part of the journey. I am passionate about promoting wellness, which is rooted in nourishment, self-care and self-love.
Since setting up Nutrahope, I have not stopped helping my clients rediscover their sense of well-being from a place of compassion and with a deep appreciation of uniqueness. It is always an honour to be able to share someone’s journey with me.
Self love & self-appreciation are many times the missing ingredients in any lifestyle/dietary modifications. By learning to appreciate our real value, we learn to appreciate our body and what we allow ourselves to feed it with. Every so often, we need reminding of our greatness, along with guidance and tools to make nourishing food choices and feel assured in our innate ability to thrive.
I’m registered with the British Association For Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) – professional body for Nutritional Therapists, and with the Complementary and Natural Health Council (CNHC) – Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care. I am also a qualified Health Coach and Trauma Informed Wellbeing Coach.
